ATV riding on a snowy day in the Black Hills we got the idea to start a clothing line. We saw a need for more affordable outdoor clothing options, and the entrepreneurial spirit decided to meet that need. Out Cold Outfitters was born.

Who We Are
Quality control is one of our main concerns, which is why Out Cold’s products are actively tested by people in the Black Hills. We have recruited guides, hunters, hikers, campers, and other outdoor enthusiasts to wear our products and let us know how they fare. By continuously getting feedback from real people who are spending time out in the elements, we can ensure our gear meets the highest standards. Conservation/philanthropy
We believe the best way to give back is by starting close to home. Based in the Black Hills, Out Cold is committed to supporting local conservation efforts. We are regular supporters of South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures, which mentors youth who want to learn how to hunt, fish and experience the great outdoors.
Out Cold’s founder, Greg Blachford, is also a strong supporter of local youth athletics, particularly advocating for girls’ and women’s athletics.
